It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Alcide Hoffman at 82 years old. He passed peacefully after a short battle with cancer.
He will be lovingly remembered by his loving wife Flora, his sons Ian and Douglas, his daughter Karen, and his grandsons Benjamin and Spencer. Al leaves behind an extended family that consists of sisters, in-laws, cousins, nephews, nieces, and many friends.
Al will be remembered by many for his love of cars and his hands on approach to keeping everything running. Al was known as a driver and a connector – a conduit between families and communities that Al and Flo were apart of and supported through the years.
Al touched many lives, and we will miss him dearly.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Friday, December 31, 2021, at OLPH Church in Sherwood Park.
