It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Vivian Sarah (Toms) King announces her passing. Vivian passed peacefully away at the Central Newfoundland Regional Hospital, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL on Monday, May 25th, 2020 at the age of 92 years.
Predeceased by her husband – Malcolm; her daughters – Norma, Iris and Vida; parents – Arthur and Flora Toms; parents-in-law – Edward and Annie King as well as two brothers and seven sisters.
Left to cherish with a lifetime of fond and happy memories are her children – Cindy (Gene), Raymond (Excie), Wayne (Kay), Christine (Gary), Bryce (Maxine), Dave (Donna) and Danny (Darlene); sister – Iona Toms; grandchildren – Justin (Sherry), Jaime (Roger), Shawn (Glenda), Sheldon (Amanda), Shannon (Aldonna), Nicole (Steve), Chad (Karla), Mitch, Chris (Carmen), Jason, Jennifer (Randy), Tracy (Dan), Teresa (Neil), Malcolm, Melissa, Brent (Jennifer) and Brandi (Cody); 27 great-grandchildren, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.
Due to the COVID-19 Global Pandemic, the Public Health Advisory and associated restrictions, we regret to announce that there will be no Public Visitation or Funeral Service. Reverend Christopher Mazhandu will conduct a Private Family Funeral Service at Foster Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Zion United Church Cemetery, La Scie, NL.
We encourage extended family and friends to share condolences, memories and/or photos to Vivian’s memorial wall, available on our website. All items will be documented and displayed in our personalized guestbook and presented to the King family.
