With broken hearts we announce the peaceful passing of our loving mother and wife, Violet Butler (Kennedy), Age 80 years. Violet passed away in her home, surrounded by her loving family June 24th, 2020. Predeceased by Father and Mother, William Robert and Helen Kennedy, Sister Myrtle Dawe, Mother In-Law Susan Margurite Vaters, Father in-law John Albert Butler. Sisters and Brothers In-law Edit and Maxwell Billard, William and Stella Petten, Frank and Lillian Sharpe, Clarence Reeves, Jennie Fowler, William Peach, James Dawe, and John Fowler. Left with fond and loving memories, Husband William Victor, daughters Beverley King(Greg), Gina Butler, Joanne Drover (Barry), Victoria Butler, and Son Greg (Tara). Grandchildren, Geoff, Travis, Samantha, Victoria, Brenna, Drake, Mitchell, Dylan, Kelsey, Hallie, Jamie, and Nathan. Great grandchildren, Wyatt, Tristan, Garrett, Maxwell, and Jasper – The Lads. Sisters Lillian Watton (Oliver), Linda Peach, and Brother Fred Kennedy. Brothers and Sisters in law Effie Reeves ( Derm), Herbert and Mary Butler, Ella and Alec Mugford. A large circle of nieces, nephews, and friends. Special thanks to homecare providers, Joyce, Amy, and Angela. Dr. Tom Brien, Dr. Lisa Barnes and the palliative care team, as well as the Community Health Nurses. No flowers by request. If desired, donations gracefully accepted on behalf of the ALS Society of Newfoundland or charity of one’s choice. A private funeral service is planned.
