With sadness, we announce the passing of Tyler on October 29, 2020 at the age of 26. Predeceased by his father Sancho (March 7, 2006). Cherished son of Virginia (Mario Teves). Beloved brother to Jason and Cassandra and stepbrother to Justin, Samantha and Ferni and uncle to Hailey. Tyler will forever be in the heart of his girlfriend Cassandra Rocha. A dear nephew, he will be missed by his aunts and uncles; Anna, Elsa, Carmen (Gerry) and John along with his cousins Matthew, Jenifer and Jordan. Tyler’s passing will be felt by his many friends especially Moses and his daughter Amina.
Visitation will be held at Bernardo Funeral Home (2960 Dufferin St., south of Lawrence Ave. W.) on Monday November 2 from 3-8 p.m. Please note, that due to the COVID-19 Pandemic restrictions and social distancing requirements, for the visitation, the funeral home must conform to 30% occupancy capacity. Visitors may need to wait to enter the funeral home in order to maintain the capacity requirement. Face masks are mandatory and contact tracing information will be collected upon entering the building.
Due to the restrictions placed by the COVID-19 pandemic, the family will be having a private funeral service followed by burial at Prospect Cemetery.
In memory of Tyler, donations may be made to the Sick Kids Foundation.
