Obituary of Tom Moorehead
MOOREHEAD, Thomas John
Passed away peacefully on April 3rd, 2020 in his 76th year. He was the husband of Kathy of Cambridge, father to Stewart of Pittsburgh and Jason and his wife Catherine of Georgetown. Grandfather to Jordyn, Avery and Leah. Survived by his sister Sherry and her husband Wayne Gibson of Ottawa, brother-in-law to Larry and Pauline Martin of Waterloo and uncle to Lee (Brian Wideman) and Ted (Jane Martin) and 5 great-nieces. Tom had a long career in the telecommunications industry, working in telephone, fibre optics and satellite communications. He thoroughly enjoyed starting new businesses, solving problems and working with and leading fast paced, R&D teams working on the cutting edge of technology. Tom enjoyed many hobbies, from sailing on Georgian Bay to antique telephones and clocks. He also enjoyed spending summers in cottage country. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
