Peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, February 6, 2020 at the age of 79. Born in Spezzano Piccolo, Cosenza, Italy on December 21, 1940, he was the son of the late Rocco Antonio and Valentina (nee Barca) Manfredi. His is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years Rosetta (nee Caputo); his loving and adoring children Rocco (Karen), Valentina (Antonio Borracci), Oriana (John Langis) and Giovanna (Luca Guercio); his cherished grandchildren Rosina and Carina Manfredi, Vito (Kristina) and Pasquina Borracci, Lambros and Marcos Langis, Joe and Jonny Guercio; and great-grandchildren Antonio, Tommasino and Valentina Borracci. He will be dearly remembered by his sister Teresa Rota, his extended family and many dear friends. Special thanks to all Doctors and staff at the Ottawa Hospital General Campus, Oncology Ward; Dr. McKinnon, RN Max Hamlyn and all the Palliative Care Team; Champlain LHIN, Bayshore Home Care and Carefor Health Services. Family and friends may pay their respects at the Pinecrest Visitation Centre – 2500 Baseline Rd., Ottawa, on Sunday, February 9 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service to take place on Monday, February 10 at 11:00 a.m. in the Pinecrest Remembrance Chapel.
