It is with great sadness that the family of the late Thomas (Tommy) Benoit announces his peaceful passing after a courageous battle with cancer on Friday May 22, 2020 at Dr. Charles L Legrow Health Center at the age of 81 years. Tommy was predeceased by his birth parents Joseph and Mary Benoit, his son Andrew Benoit in 1989 and his adoptive parents Archie and Rose MacIsaac.
Leaving to mourn with many fond and loving memories his only daughter Alisha Benoit (Eddie Skinner), the apples of his eye, grandchildren Keshia Benoit and TJ Benoit, his partner whom he adored very much Margaret Campbell, his brothers Bernie Benoit (Ivy), Raymond Bennett (Mary),god daughter Cordelia O’Quinn and a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and many life long friends.
Due to the current public health advisory of COVID-19, there will be a private family viewing at East Haven Funeral Home (Downtown Location) which will be followed by a private funeral service on Monday May 25, 11 am at St. Sylvester’s Roman Catholic Church, South Branch, officiated by Father Lee Lainey, interment will follow at St. Sylvester’s Roman Catholic Cemetery.
