Obituary of Susan Angelika Grace Lynch
GRACE, Susan Angelika “Suzzy Q”.
With heavy hearts and grave sadness, we announce that Susan Grace of Waterloo passed away at her home on Wednesday, December 9, 2020, at the age of 52 years. Susan leaves behind her beloved husband Kevin Lynch. Loving mother of Michael William Grace of Waterloo, Natasha (Grace) and Scott Detweiler of Elmira and Christopher and Mercedes Grace of Walton. Cherished Oma of Colby and Brooklyn Detweiler of Elmira and Mason, Sophia, Cohen, Dawsyn, and Austin Grace of Walton. Dear daughter of Ella (Krüger) and the late Fred Thistle (2020) and survived by her in-laws Paul and Sharon Lynch of Listowel, and her brother-in-law Bryan Lynch. She will be remembered as a special aunt to Kevin, Olivia and Levi.
Susan was a dedicated and hard worker, she worked as a lab tech / phlebotomist throughout the last 25 years. She worked at LifeLabs, Cambridge Memorial, Grand River and St Mary’s Hospitals. As well, she dipped her fingers in the forensic field at Hamilton hospital. Susan was all about growth and knowledge, continually learning .
Susan was a Floridian at heart and any down time she had was spent lounging on a beach in Florida .
She enjoyed having all her family together, especially watching all her grandchildren play together.
Susan’s family will receive relatives and friends on Monday, December 14, 2020 from 7-9pm. at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street S., Waterloo. Those wishing to attend the visitation are kindly asked to wear a personal face covering and RSVP to the funeral home by telephone 519-745-8445. Private Funeral Services will be held.
