Obituary for Steve Stanley
Rev. Steven Stanley – On Friday February 14, 2020 from Bluewater Health, Sarnia, surrounded by the love of his family, Steve was called home to his Heavenly Father whom he loved and served during his life here on earth. Steve will be greatly missed by his wife, Heather, his children, Sarah, Josh and Leah, his sisters and their husbands, Michelle and Paul Gilpin and Jodi and Doug Beswick and their families. Steve will also be missed by his extended family, Carol Stanley, Michael and Betty Walch, Karla Stewart and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Steve joins his family, Bill and Sharon Stanley and Jean Walch.
Steve served the Lord as a pastor at Wyoming Baptist Church (2013-2020) and at West Park Church (2006-2012). Steve was also a member of the singing group Heartsong (1992-2006). Steve touched the lives of so many people in his years of service.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 20, 2020 from 1 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. at Wyoming Baptist Church, 484 Broadway St., Wyoming, ON. A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 21, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Forest Baptist Church, 19 Prince St. Forest, ON. Private family internment of cremated remains in Poplar Hill Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to Heritage College & Seminary (www.discoverheritage.ca) or Canadian Cancer Society (www.cancer.ca).
