It is with heavy hearts that the family of Stanley Earle Barton announce his passing at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Saturday, November 7, 2020 at 81 years. Stanley was born in Cumberland Bay on September 16, 1939 son of the late Murray Jarvis Barton and Ruby Fern (MacVicar).
He is survived by his daughters, Wendy (Barry Ryder) Kierstead and Terry-Lynn Barton; brothers, Harold Barton (Glenna), Frank Barton, Leonard Barton (Eleanor) and Lorna Barton; grandson, Evan Kierstead; nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his wife, Doris in 2018; siblings, Lawrence Barton, Allison Barton, Mona Kirkman, Doris MacLean, Gordon Barton, Betty Barton, John Barton and Ethel Whitehead.
A celebration of Stanley’s life will be held at a later date. Memorial donations in memory of Stanley made to the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated by the family.
