It is with great sadness that the family of the late Stan Tompkins announce his passing on Monday, November 30th, 2020 at Western Long Term Care, Corner Brook at the age of 93 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, his brother Johnny, Antigonish, NS; 2 sisters-in-law, Camille Bruce and Assumpta Roche; special nephews: Kelly Tompkins, David Bruce and Leo Bruce; as well as other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Predeceased by his wife Teresa, parents James and Ursula; brothers and sisters: Fr. Richard Tompkins, Frank (Bride) Tompkins, Jimmy (Ann) Tompkins, Mary (Jack) McCormack, Patricia (Bob) Page and Margaret (Fred) Thompson. The family would like to send a special Thank you to the staff at Western Long Term Care and to Mountain view House, Meadows for the loving care shown to Stan over the years. A private funeral service will held on Friday, December 4th from Sacred Heart Parish with Fr. Ed Terry officiating. The inurnment will follow at Mt. Patricia cemetery.
