It is with utmost sadness, the family announces the sudden death of Sherry Jean Theresa Fillion at the age of 35 years. Sherry loved life, she had the most contagious smile that would light up a room. Her children were her everything, her rock in this not so kind world. Sherry had a passion for hockey, you could always find her on the rink. It was her true happy place. She loved the snow and would always be waiting for that first snowfall. That first snowflake was a sign from above. Her sweet angel Chloe in heaven. Sherry had a heart of gold and would help anyone she could, whether a phone call, a message, a chocolate cake date, you could count on her. Sherry was a light to so many in this world, she will be remembered for her strength and resilience. Sherry had a quirky personality and dance moves to prove it. She always made people laugh and never judged anyone. Sherry is so loved and missed.
Predeceased by her angel baby Chloe and left behind are her two beautiful children who meant the world to her. Charley (age 5) and Winter (age 1.5). She will be lovingly remembered by her mother Sue Bigelow (Roy), her father Gord Fillion (Gisele). Sherry will be very missed by her 5 siblings. Brent (Lisa), Cindy, Amanda, Karen (Derek) and Brenda. She is in the hearts of all her nieces and nephews. Shayna (Brayden), Peyton and Caden. Jada, Kaylee and Brayden. Aubrey, Paisley, Easton, Price and Tucker. Sherry will be greatly loved and missed by her fiancé Eric Lafortune and step-son (Easton). Also Joanne (Clint). Sherry will always remain in the hearts of many friends, aunts, uncles, & cousins. The memory of Sherry will forever be imbeded in our hearts.
Cremation will take place at Lakeview Crematorium. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Buffam Leveille Funeral Home. My sincere condolences to Sherry’s family and friends. I was privileged to have known Sherry in the past few years. She was such a warm and caring woman who had a huge heart. She always had time to help others on their journey even when she struggled with her own. Sherry’s children were the center of her life. That was apparent whenever anyone saw her interact with them. My heart breaks for them. Sherry, I will remember you always.
