Selina’s Obituary
The family of Selena Mary White (Nee Marsh) sadly announce of their beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother on October 14, 2020 at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre, aged 91 years. She dedicated her life to the well being of her family and made many sacrifices to ensure that her daughters had opportunities that she did not have in her life. Proverbs 31:28a – Her children arise and call her blessed.
in 1998, Selena’s husband, Baxter Harvey White, was suddenly and unexpectedly called to his heavenly home. This left a deep void in her life. Baxter’s home going was just six months short of their 50th wedding anniversary. Besides her husband Baxter, Selena was also predeceased by her parents, Willis & Eliza Marsh; three brothers & sisters-in-law, Arthur & Emma Marsh, George & Ruby Marsh, & Maxwell & Mae Earle; one sister, Doris Burton; along with other brothers and sisters-in-law.
Selena is survived by her three daughters, Linda White, Sonya (Gerald) Locke, Karen White (Wade Jerrett); one granddaughter, Krista (Amir) Gammal; one grandson, Kevin Locke; three great-grandchildren, Shaheer Gammal, Aarya Gammal, & Tamer Gammal; special nieces, Wanda Marsh Yetman & Judy Marsh Lush; special nephew, Willis Marsh; sisters-in-law, Lily Woodworth & Ruth Earle; brother-in-law, Donald(Betty) Squires; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Due to the Covid 19 restrictions there will be no public visitation or funeral service. All services will remain private for the family.
