Obituary of Ruth Carruthers
Peacefully at Westmount Gardens London on Tuesday, February 11th, 2020. Ruth K. Carruthers formerly of Melbourne in her 97th year. Predeceased by her husband Harry (2003). Loving mother of Ron (Anne) Carruthers of Melbourne, Sylvia Carruthers ( John Robertson) of Foothills County , Alberta, and Mark (Chris) Carruthers of Melbourne. Predeceased by her sisters Doris, Orpha, and June. Survived by her 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Friends will be received by the family at the Elliott-Madill Funeral Home , Mount Brydges on Monday February 17th from 11 am to 1 pm where a celebration of Ruth’s life will be held at 1 pm. Rev. Matthew Penny officiating . Cremation has taken place. Interment Longwoods Cemetery, Melbourne at a later date. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, St. Elizabeth Home Society or charity of one’s choice would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
