Russell «Russ» John Linfield
Russell J. Linfield passed away
at age 48 on December 27, 2020 at Moncton City Hospital with his
devoted wife, Sandra, and daughter Jade at his side. Russ was born on
March 11, 1972, in Moncton, New Brunswick.
Russ was the beloved husband of
Sandra and the loving father of two young women, Arista and Jade. He
is also survived by his parents, Ernest and Catherine Linfield,
brother, Brett, Mother and Father–in law Lloyd (Joan)
Trites, brother-in-law Derek (Dawn) Trites, sister-in-law, Natasha
Hicks as well as several nieces and
nephews.
He met his wife 28 years ago
while attending High School and knew from the moment he met her he was
going to spend his life with her. Though he was only on earth for a
short time, he is remembered every day by his friends and family. Russ
had a sense of humor that lit up any room, just ask his co-workers at
Pepsi, where he worked for 27 years. If you were having a bad day, a
quick stroll to the shipping department to see Russ would surely
brighten your day. You could always see Russ riding his motorcycle
with his wife, brother or friends and thoroughly looked forward to his
Sunday’s playing various games with his lifelong friends.
Russ worshipped his wife and girls and you could be sure they were
never too far away.
Visitation will be held at
Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on
Tuesday, January 5, 2021 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. COVID-19 restrictions
will be in place and masks are mandatory.
