BEAUCHAMP, Roy Oliver – Peacefully at the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Friday, May 22nd, 2020 in his 90th year. Roy Beauchamp of Pembroke, beloved husband of Marina Marie Beauchamp (nee Giroux). Loving father of Denis (Patricia) and Jimmy (Deborah). Grandfather of Marc, Michelle, Anna (Shawn) Cation, Andrew and Natalie. Great Grandfather of Bryson, Dylan, Morgan, Claire and Reagan. Roy was born in 1931 in Mansfield, QC, married the love of his life Marina on June 2nd, 1953 in Pembroke, where they lived until his passing, 10 days away from their 67th Wedding Anniversary. A longtime employee of the Canadian Splint until his retirement, he continued to work alongside both his sons until October 2019 when he finally stopped working due to his health. He was very proud of his sons and their families. He especially enjoyed traveling, camping and bowling with them over the years. He also loved hunting and fishing, a good game of card and a laugh. In his later years his five great grandchildren brought great joy to his life. Due to constraints of the Covid-19 pandemic, visitation and service will be private. Those wishing to pay their respect may line the road on Bruham Ave. while social distancing on Tuesday, May 26th, 2020 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Diabetic Association, the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Charity of your Choice would be appreciated. Special thanks to the staff of Bayshore, especially Sarah, Nick, Angel, Teresa, Linda, Brittany and Erin. Without you, the last seven months at home would not have been possible. Arrangements by the
