Obituary for Robin Soney
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Robin Roy Soney, a member of Walpole Island First Nation on September 13, 2020 at the age of 48. Robin is survived by his children Krystal Nahdee-Soney (Mike), Rob Nahdee-Soney, Jonas Opichi Williams and his grandchildren Dillon, Hayley, Tyrese and Madison. Dear son of Jacqueline Soney (nee Wrightman) and Randall Soney and brother of Nathan and Chad Soney. He will be remembered by his many friends and extended family. Robin enjoyed working with tools and could be found working on cars and listening to music, especially the Blues. Family and friends are invited for visitation on Thursday, September 17, 2020 from 6-8pm at the HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg and on Friday, September 18, 2020 from 10am until 12:30pm at the Walpole Island United Church. A private family service will be held at the church followed by cremation.
