Robert “Bob” Lorne Dundas

The family of Robert “Bob” Lorne Dundas, of Komoka and formerly of Bayfield and St. Marys, are sad to announce the passing of Bob at University Hospital in London on December 27, 2020 at the age of 73.
Son of Audrey Dundas and the late Lorne Dundas of St. Marys. Bob will be deeply missed by his wife, Elizabeth “Liz” (nee Robson), his daughters, Lynne Killinger (Dave) and Tara Alden (Rob). Cherished Grandfather of Vicki Lake (Adam), Ashley Alden, Tyler Alden (Krista), Nicholas and Nathan Killinger and Great Grandfather of Jackson, Ashlynne, Isla, Ryan, Cara and Alex. Brother of Pat Bestard (Steve) and Brent Dundas (Darlene). Liz’s children, Tammy, Jason and Ryan and grandchildren, Britton, MacKenzie, Lexi, Kellan and Isla.
Bob was with the St. Marys Police Department for over 20 years and was a member of the St. Marys Volunteer Fire Department from July 1969 to Aug 1982. Bob and Liz spent their winters in Florida or traveling in the southern US states. Bob enjoyed being outside, his annual fishing trips and spending time with his family and friends.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Memorial donations may be made to the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation or to a charity of choice.
