Rita’s Obituary
Rita Delphine was born in Keg River (AB) on October 28, 1935. She was a long time resident of Keg. She is the last of her siblings to go; She went peacefully on October 12, 2020 at the Northwest Health Centre in High Level (AB).
Young at heart, Rita would be dressing up for Halloween, at this time of year. In her younger days, she would go dancing and it’s in those younger years, too, that she sharpened her skills of dry meat making, baking and cooking. She played bingo and poker bingo. She enjoyed family gatherings at her home, with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren-AND EVEN-great-great-grandchildren! Family gatherings were full of card-playing.
She is predeceased by her husband Raymond Cardinal; parents Alex Hameline & Mary Louise Cardinal; son Robert Cardinal; siblings Contant Hamelin, Fredrick Hamelin, Christine Sutherland; grandchild Angel Savard-Hamelin.
Rita is survived by her children Lila Kilkenny, Richard Hamelin, Rhonda Supernault, Ronald Cardinal, Russell Hamelin, Ricky Cardinal, Elizabeth Chalifoux, Candy Piper, Carmen Laboucane, Jerome Chalifoux and their families.

Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday, October 17, 2020 from Paddle Prairie Community Complex. Burial at Keg River Community Cemetery.
