Peter Stewart Tonner passed away peacefully at St. Paul’s Hospital on June 28,2020, with his loving wife, Helen (nee Banman), by his side.
Peter is remembered by his children, Valerie Tonner – Winnipeg MB, Chris Tonner – Hope BC., Mark Tonner – Moncton NB, and his granddaughter, Clare (Jordan) Isaak – Winnipeg MB.
He was predeceased by his precious grandson Mattew.
Peter was a businessman and an entrepreneur. He had a passion for helping those in need and blessed many lives. Peter and Helen made a great team and their hospitality was a gift they often shared. Even when the end of his life was drawing near, Peter and Helen found their strength and comfort in God’s promises.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice. A celebration of Peter’s life will be announced at a later date.
