Obituary of Pat Edwards
Peacefully, with her family at her side, at Bluewater Health, Sarnia on Sunday, June 7th, 2020, Pat Edwards in her 80th year. Predeceased by her beloved husband of 53 years, Bill Edwards (January 14, 2013). Loving mother of Brenda (Chris) VanEngelen and Jeff (Gale) Edwards. Cherished and proud grandma “Grams” of Melissa VanEngelen (Tim), Meaghan Huyben, (Marc), Matthew Edwards, Christopher Edwards (Karlene) and Callie Hyatt (Jacob). Predeceased by her grandson Michael Edwards (1986). Adoring great grams of Haylee and Brynlee Downey; Maddox and Millie Huyben and Linley and Harrison Hyatt.
Survived by her beloved sister and best friend Marie Williamson of Sarnia and by sister-in-law MaryAnn Wilson. Predeceased by her parents Harold and Jessie Wilson, brothers and sisters-in-law Ken (Betty) Wilson, Clayton (Myrtle) Wilson, Carl Williamson, Basil Wilson and Robert (Alice) Wilson. Pat is also predeceased her parents-in-law Clifford and Myrtle Edwards and her brother and sister-in-law Fred (Melita) Edwards.
Pat had many passions; including family, driving school bus for over 37 years and catering for over 39 years. She will be missed by the many children that boarded her school bus daily and the many people who enjoyed one of her many home cooked meals. The family would like to thank the Palliative Care team at Bluewater Health and Lynn Fontaine for their special care and support during Pat’s illness.
In lieu of flowers, and at Pat’s request, donations can be made to either Pathways Health Centre for Children or the Watford Skating Club.
