Pamela Joan
Webb – 68, Onslow,
passed away peacefully, with family at her side, on Sunday evening,
March 22, 2020, at Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in
Worcester, England, she was a daughter of the late Geoff and Joan
(Nelson) Bailey.
Pamela
married Frank Webb on April 1, 1972, in England and they immigrated to
Canada in 1974. They moved to Alix, Alberta where Pamela
worked at Stettler Independent in Bashaw, Alberta. In 1983, Pamela and
Frank moved from Alix to Highland Village, Nova Scotia. Pamela worked
for the Weekly Record and in 1993 she left the Weekly to
work with Art Carter at Carter Graphics. In 1996 Pamela purchased
Carter Graphics and owned it up until 2006 when she gave the company
to her husband, Frank, who took over and it became Colchester Printing
Company. She decided to change her career
and joined VON and worked with them until 2010 from where she retired
due to health reasons and to be with her
family.
Pamela is survived by her loving husband, Frank; sons,
Greg Webb, Debert; Stuart (Krista) Webb, Cold Lake, Alberta;
grandchildren, Morgan Webb, Robyn Webb, Jocelyn Webb. Pamela is also
survived by her loving family in England, including her sister, Liz
(John) Preece and her brother-in-law, Ian (Trish) Pardoe and their
families.
Pamela’s family will gather at a later time
to celebrate her life. If so desired, donations in her memory to
Canadian Cancer Society are welcomed.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Mattatall
– Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro. Private
