Oakley, Marilyn
Marilyn Ann Oakley
of Wellington on the Lake,
died on Saturday, October 11th
at Hospice Prince Edward in Picton
after a long brave fight with cancer.
Marilyn was born in Wellington, UK on January 17th, 1949 and
was well known as a past owner of Elizabeth’s Hair styling in Ottawa.
She is survived by husband Roger Fountain, sister Kathryn and best friend Debbie in Ottawa,
friend Richard in Belleville and his sons Mathew and Michael in Toronto. aunts Kitty and Josie,
cousins Debra, Gillian, Jean, Linda, Theresa, Janice, Elizabeth, and many nephews and nieces all of the UK.
Due to the restrictions surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic,
a small family graveside service will be held at the Wellington Cemetery.
A Memorial Service will follow at a later date when circumstances allow.
