Passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family on November 27, 2020 at age 87 and into the arms of her late husband Michael ( 2013 ). Cherished mother of Michael, Margaret. Christina and Monica ( Andy Szaniszlo Loving Oma of Michael, Elisha (Justin ), Chloe, Emma ( Kal ), Vickie, Candice (Nicole ), Phylicia ( Tyke ), Tia, Jaggar and Lyndun. Precious Oma of great grandchildren Murphy, Xander, Audrina, Logan, Leila, James and Baby Quinn. Lovingly remembered by family both here in Austria and all those whose lives she touched with her gentle spirit.
She shared her gifts of kindness volunteering for many years as a Brown Owl with local Brownie chapters, poured her smile into countless coffee cups served at the Hotel-Dieu Hospital Coffee Bar and wrapped her warmth around the residents of Aspen Lake with her compassion. She found a place in the hearts of all who knew her and will live on in the memories there.
Visitation on Wednesday December 2, 2020 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM.
A service celebrating Miltraud’s life will be held Wednesday evening at 8:00 PM. Families First 1065 Lauzon Road East Windsor 519-969-5841. Reservations and personal face coverings are required to attend visitation.
A private family interment will take place at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Hospice of Windsor in lieu of flowers.
