Michelle’s Obituary
On Saturday May 23, 2020 Michelle Violet Desfosses passed away at the age of 33 years.
She was born at the General Hospital in Calgary, Ab on August 8, 1986 to parents Wanda and Rene Desfosses.
She was full of laughter and brought much joy to all around her. Her passing has saddened us all.
Michelle attended grade school in Taylor, BC. She then moved to the Grande Prairie area where she worked for various companies.
She had many talents, a strong analytical mind, handy running equipment and learning welding from her dad. She earned her welders license, worked in the oilfield, and later received her hairdressing certification. Many new friends were made during that course.
The best thing she can say is how proud she was to be the mother to her son Myles, her pride and joy.
You could often find Michelle on the family acreage helping her dad build something or welding on a new family project. She was known to drive into the yard, music blaring and singing at the top of her voice.
Michelle is survived by her son, Myles; parents, Wanda and Rene Desfosses; brother, Phil(Katelyn) and their children, Augi, Sydney, Stryder and Stella; step sisters Angie and Danielle; Grandma Helen Desfosses; and She will also be fondly remembered by many special Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and friends.
A private family service in memory of Michelle will be held in June.
If friends and family wish, donations can be made in memory of Michelle to her son Myles.
