Obituary
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our daughter, Melissa Janine Gregory (Kimamina Omani Wi). She was born February 14, 1988 and passed away on December 16, 2020 after a short illness.
Melissa had a heart of gold and helped people out even when she didn’t have much herself. When she was younger, she would bring home stray cats and dogs, even taming the meanest dog. She was quick witted and very humorous. She was also strong and very independent. She will be missed and forever remembered by: Her parents, Denis Tacan and Maurice Gregory; her son, Spencer Gregory; her special friend, Garry Ramsey; her sisters, Janet Goodvoice (Dwayne), Lauren Goodvoice (Pinto), Robin Goodvoice (Greg), and Courtney Mousseau (Keenan); her brothers, Sinjin Shorting (Leslie) and Clayton Teri; numerous aunties, uncles, nieces, nephews, Kunsi(s), and unka(s) whom she all held dear to her heart.
Melissa was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Amelia Tacan and Gordon Norquay; her paternal grandparents, Hazel Whitebird and Harry Gregory; her nephew, Raedyn Goodvoice; and her uncle, Robert Rosmus.
A private viewing has taken place. Her ashes will be laid to rest by her grandmothers in Sioux Valley and Rolling River, MB.
