It is with deep sorrow and endless love that we mourn the passing of Robin Gloria McCaffry after a long, hard fight and courageous battle with cancer. She passed surrounded by her husband (Mel), son (Dominic) and her two loving dogs Bella & Dolly.
Robin will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 30 years Mel, son Dominic & cousin Dale Kulchisky. As well as the “gang” in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico where her and Mel would spend the winter months.
Robin had an extreme passion for animals and was very active in both the St. Albert and Puerto Vallarta communities’ efforts to rescue as many pets without homes that she could.
Robin also played a huge role in setting up the “St. Albert lost and found pets” Facebook page and it was not uncommon for her to be up all night helping strangers in need trying to find their lost companions.
Robin was predeceased by her father, William “Bill” McCaffry and her brother James “Jim” McCaffry.
Memorial Donations can be made in Robin’s name to any animal rescue of their choosing.
A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
