Obituary of Maurice Marcel Remi Bray
BRAY, Maurice Marcel Remi
Peacefully on Saturday, April 11, 2020 in his 68th year, Maurice passed away in hospital following a recent surgery. He was the loving husband of Lucille (Browning) and proud father of Marie-Léa (Buddy) and Paul (Kate) and the adoring Papa of Hudson, Grace and Piper. He is survived by his brother Denis (Judith), sisters Hélène and Lise (Ken) and sisters-in-law Marcelle and Diane, and the loving Bray, Léger and Browning extended families. He is predeceased by parents Paul and Agathe (Léger) and his brothers Gilles and Alain.
Maurice was born and raised in Hearst, a small francophone town in Northern Ontario. He looked forward to his trips home to visit family and friends. He had many fond memories of the good times together.
He was a dedicated hospital employee for many years. He liked his hockey, baseball and curling. In retirement he loved spending more time on the golf course with the boys. His humour, laughter, smile and love for life will be missed. His ‘porch-watching’ days from his chair have ended – he loved your horn honks, friendly waves and chats.
‘À-Lou-a-Lou-a’ he would say…and now, À bientôt, mes amis.
His family and friends will gather to celebrate Maurice’s life at a later date.
The family wishes to thank all the hospital staff for their outstanding care.
