FERGUSON, MARY ELIZABETH
Quietly in hospital, on Tuesday September 1, 2020 following a stroke, Mary Elizabeth Ferguson (nee Stinson) passed away in her 92nd year. Loving and devoted wife of the late John R. Ferguson, cherished mother of Bruce (Judy Chamberlain) and Lynda (John Sinclair). Predeceased by her brother Leonard; like a sister to Jack Boyd and Lorna Russell. She carried the values she learned in childhood all the days of her life, and epitomized the truth that a modest woman can be an extraordinary person. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Daley Family Funeral Home, 6971 Bank St. from 2-4 & 6-8 pm on Tuesday September 8th. Private burial at Elmview Cemetery, Kars. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the House of Lazarus, 2245 Simms St, Mountain, ON K0E 1S0, Winchester District Memorial Hospital, 566 Louise St. Winchester, ON K0C 2K0 or the charity of your choice would be appreciated. She did every little thing with such love. Rest in peace Mom. Please be advised that Covid-19 precautions are still in effect; we respectfully request that attendees wear a mask and that 6 feet of social distancing measures be observed inside and outside of the funeral home. A limited number of people are permitted in the funeral home, line ups are not permitted.
