Marvel Lena Cecelia Bullied
With broken hearts we announce that our loving mother and grandmother left us on September 4th 2020. She passed away peacefully at home with her loving son by her side, just as she would have wished.
Marvel was born September 15, 1937 and spent her whole life in the Emo area and never had any desire to leave. After marrying Eugene on December 19, 1957, they settled on Front St. and raised their family. Marvel enjoyed working at Cloverleaf until she retired. She could be seen riding her bicycle to and from work every day in the summer and enjoying a 5-Alive on the deck afterwards. She believed weekends were meant to be spent at the cabin on Clearwater enjoying the view of the lake. Marvel also very much enjoyed gardening and she made the best dill pickles around.
Marvel’s greatest treasure was her family to which she was a very protective, caring and loving mother. She also truly loved being a Gramma. She was so proud of her grandchildren and would light up when they came to visit. She could always be counted on to have a supply of ‘Freezies’ ready for when the grandkids came.
Even as Marvel’s physical health started to limit her ability to be as active she still found great joy in life. She appreciated the simple things. She spent her days watching the birds at her feeder and always having a smile and wave to anyone who went by.
Marvel was predeceased by her parents Cecil and Lily Grant and her eldest son, Wayne and son-in-law Chip. Earlier this year her husband Eugene also passed.
Marvel is survived by her sons Murray (Tracy), Ed (Arlene) and her daughter Sheila: grandchildren Shaun, Taylor (Travis), Trapper (Taylor), Haley (Cody) and Scout and by Wendy Jackson, a cherished family member.

planning and sharing special times
for playing taxi and bagging lunches
accepting mud pies and hugs in bunches
for understanding puppy love pain
high red boots for walking in rain
for all these things and so much more
the things I never said “Thank you” for
