Obituary
On 14th February, 2020; the formidable, elegant, dignified and beautiful Marjorie May Reeves passed away peacefully at Qualicum Gardens. As in life she died with dignity and surrounded by love from the care of the Angels on Eton wing.
Marjorie is survived by her treasured daughter Marsha Lorraine Varrow, her beloved Grandson Dylan Mandla Varrow, her brother Brian Reeves and sister Jean in Wales.
Marjorie was born in Wales and studied ballet, tap and jazz. She left for London to perform in the theatre. Then emigrating to Canada at age 60 after years of visiting her stage mother in Vancouver. Her son Mark Wayne Varrow died tragically in 2015 who lived on Vancouver Island. My mother deeply believed that people should be genuine of; heart, mind body and soul, it takes strength of character to be honest and truthful. We will always remember her heart, her beautiful mind and her feisty spirit. She was truly the dancer of life and continues her dance in us whilst her legacy of love will remain deeply within our souls.
My Mothers ashes will be scattered in Kew Gardens in London, England where along with my brother Mark, they will be freed to nature and the wind. We will celebrate their lives with a picnic as this is what my Mother did when we were children. Always adventures and joy, laughter and most importantly LOVE.
We thank all the beautiful words from those dear true friends who we considered family, who’s lives Marjorie touched. Elegant, formidable, joyous and full of gusto are only a handful of the words to describe this lady. Dignified in life and in her peaceful passing, to which she said “thank you, I’m all right” that is my mother Marjorie May Reeves.
