Immigrated to Canada in 1946, a proud English war bride.
Passed away peacefully May 21 at Miramichi Lodge, Pembroke.
Predeceased by her parents, Frances and Mary Ellen Gooch and her brothers, Laurie and Allan in England.
Loving and devoted wife to Wilbert (Bill) Lynn, deceased.
Beloved mother to Julia (Lloyd) Vaicunas, late Patricia (late Arnold) Gardner, Mary (Gilbert) Leblanc and Robert Lynn.
Cherished grandmother to Paul Vaicunas (Molly), Mark Vaicunas (Cori ), James Vaicunas (Tracy), Jennifer Vaicunas, Wade Gardner, Paige Marquardt (Shannon), Dawn Leblanc, Adam Leblanc (Cassandra), Kathryn Lynn, and Jessica Franciosi (Daniel).
She was blessed to have nine great grandchildren; William Vaicunas, Rose Vaicunas, Emma Leblanc, Maddison and Taylor Leblanc, Abigail and Joseph Marquardt, Lilly and Joseph Franciosi.
Left to mourn; Niece (daughter of Laurie) Lee Hatton (Barry) and their three daughters in Germany and several other nieces and nephews in Canada.
The family is eternally grateful to Dr. Gauthier, the nursing staff, dietery housekeeping, hair dresser, auxiliary and volunteers for the compassionate care she received during the years she made Miramichi Lodge her home.
Our appreciation also goes out to the staff at Supples Landing and Marianhill for their excellent care in previous years.
A special thanks to her granddaughter Paige, for being at her bedside, sharing precious face time video, prayers and «I love you’s» when other family members could not be there .
Mom was our family matriarch. Her passing has left a huge ache in our hearts. Safe journey home. RIP Mom.
Cremation will take place followed by a celebration of life and private burial at a later date when permissible. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests, in her memory, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association, Pembroke General Hospital, Miramichi Auxiliary or Alzheimer’s Society.
