Marie’s Obituary
WILLIAMS, Marie Elizabeth – 76, It is with great sadness that the family announce that Marie passed peacefully from this life on Monday, August 3, 2020 with her loving son at her side. Born in Clam Point on September 16, 1943 she was the daughter of the late Timothy Ross and Matilda (Cunningham) Ross. Over the years Marie enjoyed bingo and loved having plenty of company to chat and tell stories with. She also spent many summers camping at various campgrounds. Marie leaves behind to mourn the two greatest accomplishments and prides in her life, her son Clay Waybret, North East Point and granddaughter Haley Waybret, Halifax. She is also survived by her only remaining sibling Truman Waybret, Oak Park as well as many nieces and nephews that she loved and adored. Besides her parents she was predeceased by husband David Williams, brothers Basil Waybret, Dewey Waybret and Cecil Waybret, sisters Violet Stewart, Rosie Sears and Eleanor Belliveau. Special thanks to all nurses, caregivers and staff of Bay Side Home for all the special care and attention that she was given, especially the last few days. Also special thanks to Robin LeBlanc for being there until the very end. Funeral Arrangements are under the direction of HM Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Barrington where visitation will be held on Sunday, August 9 from 6-8. Funeral service will be held on Monday at HM Huskilson’s Memorial Chapel, Barrington, August 10 at 2PM with Shaun Hatfield officiating. Cremation will follow. The service will have a live feed available for anyone unable to attend due to COVID-19 restrictions. Memorial donations may be made in memory of Marie to the Rosalin Nickerson Care Fund.
