Obituary of Marg McArthur
Peacefully with her daughter by her side, at Grey Bruce Health Services in Owen Sound on Wednesday December 16, 2020. Marjorie “Marg” Irene McArthur (nee Wilson), of Owen Sound, at the age of 90 years, is now home with her dearly loved husband Lawrence McArthur of 64 years (2016) and her two sons Terry (2006) and Bradley (2007). Loving mother of Lyn Smith of B.C., and Laurie Smith (Jeff) of Owen Sound. Mother-in-law of Charlene McArthur, and Marianne McArthur. Proud grandmother of 9, and great grandmother of 11. Also remembered by her sisters Velma Specht, and Maxine Young. Predeceased by Her parents Archie and Gertha Wilson, her sons Terry and Bradley, and siblings Anna and Bob.
A private funeral service will be held on December 21, 2020 in the funeral home chapel, with Rev. Dr. Keith Sweeting of First Baptist Church in Owen Sound officiating. All attendees are required to wear a mask and follow physical distancing guidelines.
