MARGARET PATTISON
It is with great sadness that the family of Margaret Lois Pattison announces her peaceful passing on Friday, February 7, 2020 at the Tuxedo Villa Nursing Home at the age of 101 years.
Margaret will be lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephews, and their families across Canada for her outgoing and cheerful nature. She was predeceased by her loving husband Gordon, and her sister Helen Gibbons.
Margaret was born on February 13, 1918 in Winnipeg and lived all her life in Manitoba.
Margaret worked in the jewelry department of the Hudson’s Bay Company until her retirement in 1983. She enjoyed sports and was an avid golfer. She was a longtime member of the St. Boniface Golf course with her husband Gordon. Margaret could be found on the course or in the clubhouse every week until she was in her 90s. Being involved in fundraisers for children’s charities was important to Margaret. She loved helping others.
In keeping with Margaret’s wishes a private funeral service will be held in the spring.
The family would like to thank the staff of the Tuxedo Villa Nursing Home for their kind and compassionate care that Margaret received over the past six years.
