Margaret Leger
1952-2020
BEERSVILLE, NB – It is with sad hearts, we share
the passing of Margaret Elaine Leger of Beersville, Margie
passed away on Thursday, August 13, 2020 at her home at the age of
68. Born in Rexton on June 10, 1952, she was the daughter of
the late Albert Beers and late Dollena (Roberts) Beers. She
spent most of her life in Beersville.
Margie is survived by her husband, Jerry Leger; daughter,
Stacey (Elijah); son, Jason (Carrie) and fur baby Mya. She
has left behind many memories with her eight grandchildren, Beatrice,
Liberty, Violet, Zeke, Zev, Novella, Wilder and Grayson.
Margie will be missed by her dear friend Debbie and special gal
Ashley.
She was predeceased by her parents; one brother, Ronnie;
special niece Cynthia, nephew, Todd and grandson,
Abraham.
For all who knew Margie, would agree that she was a devoted
wife and mother, a faithful friend and a top notch Nanny.
Margie loved keeping in touch with her friends on a daily
basis. She loved her pals at kidney dialysis and had a great
appreciation for the staff at the Dumont Dialysis
Department. She endured dialysis for seven
years.
Thank you to Tina and Verd for always being there to
help. In memory of Margie, pick up the phone and call a
friend…. have a good chat and enjoy yourself.
Donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation or charity of the
donor’s choice would be appreciated by the
family.
A celebration of Margie’s life will be held on
Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at 3:00 pm with visitation beginning
two hours prior to the service at Thompson’s
Funeral Home Chapel in Richibucto and will be officiated by Betty
Friedman.
Arrangements are in care of Thompson’s Funeral Home
in Richibucto (523-4252).
