Peacefully at the Maxville Manor on Thursday, August 20, 2020. Margaret Joan Archer (née Matheson) of Maxville; age 80 years. Beloved wife of the late Robert Archer. Loving mother of Evelyn Archer (Stephen Lee) and David Archer (Shannon). Cherished grandmother of Cody Lee, Chad Lee (Stephanie) and Bobby Lee (Katie) and great grandmother of Elianna and Jayce Lee. Dear sister of Billy Matheson (late Gatha), Marjorie Salter (late Del), late Mary Coleman, Noreen Kenworthy (late Frank) and Dorothy Baker (Norman). Predeceased by her parents Arthur and Johanna Matheson (née Bracken). Joan will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. A private family Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Funeral arrangements under the care and direction of Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main St. South, Alexandria (613-525-2772). As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to a Charity of your Choice would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Joan a tree will be planted in a Memory Woods.
