LAKE, Margaret Elizabeth (nee Doyle)
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Margaret Lake, at the Belleville General Hospital on Tuesday August 4th, 2020 in her 83rd year. Daughter of the late Leo and Mabel Doyle. Marg is predeceased by her high school sweetheart and love of her life, William Richard Lake, whom she never stopped loving after losing him over 42 years ago.
She will be forever loved by her children Christine Lake of Kingston, Richard Lake of Tweed, Laura Reid (Richard) of Texas and John Lake (Dana) of Stirling. Proud grandmother of Ebony, Tyler (Michelle), RT, Christopher, Connor and great grandmother of Emma. She is predeceased by her grandson BJ Reid, as well as her sisters Marie, Joan and brothers Clifford and Arthur. Margaret is also survived by her brother Gerald Doyle (Joyce) of Belleville, as well as sisters-in-law Alice and Joy Newton, brother-in-law Grant Kells and her many nieces and nephews.
Arrangements have been entrusted to JOHN R. BUSH FUNERAL HOME, 80 Highland Ave. Belleville (613-968-5588). Due to restrictions in place from the COVID-19 Pandemic, a Private Family Funeral Mass will be Celebrated from St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Belleville. Attendance is restricted to only those invited by the family.
If desired, memorial donations to the Belleville Firefighters Toy Drive or Three Oaks Foundation are appreciated.
