STEENBURG, Margaret «Betty»….passed away at Hastings Manor on Thursday, September 10th, 2020 in her 97th year. Loving wife of the late Gordon Steenburg. Cherished mother of Paul Steenburg & his wife Lynn, Janet Steenburg, Don Steenburg & his wife Jill, and Michael Steenburg. Proud grandmother of Scott, Jennifer, Jason, Andrew, Nic, Tim and all her great grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by Tracey MacDonald-Gilbert & her husband Bill. Betty is survived by her siblings Roy Beeching & his wife Jean and Maurice Beeching & his wife Linda. She is predeceased by her parents Percy & Margaret Beeching, her brothers Bill and John Beeching and her sister Sylvia Pickett. A graveside service will be held at Mt. Evergreen Cemetery on Tuesday, September 15th, 2020 at 11am. Masks are not mandatory, but recommended. The gathering limit is 100, please call in to 613-394-2433 to provide your name and number for attendance tracking. The service will be recorded and later in the afternoon it will be available to be viewed at youtube.com/Weaverfuneralhomes/videos.
