Margaret Ann Power
August 22, 1928 – December 18, 2020
Passed away peacefully at Lions Manor Nursing Home in the presence of her loving family on Friday, December 18, 2020, Margaret Ann Power of Chapel Arm, aged 92 years.
Predeceased by her parents, Martha and John; children, Thomas and Angela; grandson, Craig; great-granddaughter, Cara Lynn; brothers, Bert and Cyril; plus a large circle of 1/2 brothers and sisters.
Leaving to mourn and to celebrate her life are her loving husband of 71 years, Thomas; children, Bert (Marcie), Derm (Florence), Lyla (Michael), Darren (Cheyenne), Marlene (Darren), Mark, Roseanne (Anthony), and Barbie; grandchildren, Tracy, Angie, Tommy, Matthew, Stephanie, Jadd, Jenelle, Candice, Kyler, Chloe, Keri Lynn, and Kyle; a large circle of great-grandchildren; and sister, Angela (Dot) Yetman. She will also be greatly missed by numerous family members and friends.
Mom had a huge heart. She enjoyed the outdoors, having a good time, loved animals and adored the “little ones.” She never forgot a birthday or an anniversary. She was an avid quilter, knitter, crocheter, and baker. Mom was a member of the Newfoundland and Labrador Foster Families Association and fostered 38 children over the years.

Cremation has taken place.
Due to the restrictions of Covid-19, the visitation and service to celebrate Margaret’s life will be private.
