Manganaro, Vincenzo ‘Vince’

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Vincenzo Manganaro, on Friday, September 25, 2020 in London, in his 67th year. Beloved husband of Francesca Manganaro for 39 years. Loving father of Nicholas (Nicole) and Michael (Jessica Oliveira) Manganaro. Adored Nonno of Dante Manganaro. Cherished son to Carmela Manganaro and the late Francesco Manganaro. Deeply missed by his siblings: Josie Bolzonello (John), Sylvia Liotti (Pat), Tony Manganaro (Joanna), Lina Manganaro, and Jack Manganaro (Sandra). Remembered by many nieces and nephews; all of whom he loved and touched deeply. Those that knew Vince will never forget his compassion, grace, intellect and genuine care. He was a gentle soul that made time for anyone in need. Most of all, Vince loved his family and instilled in his sons, strong values that will serve them well. He will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts. Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 4, 2020 from 12:30 – 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, October 5, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at ST. PETER’S CATHEDRAL BASILICA, 196 Dufferin Avenue, London. Inurnment will be held at St. Peter’s Cemetery at a later date. Registration is required to attend the visitation at Westview Funeral Chapel and the Funeral Mass at St. Peter’s Cathedral Basilica.

Please note: as per the directive of the Bereavement Authority of Ontario, thebao.ca/registrars-directive-changes-to-funeral-and-visitation-attendance/ attendance numbers will be restricted. Please be aware that COVID-19 protocols are in place which may preclude some from being able to attend and masks are mandatory. I met Vince a few times and I immediately liked him. He had such a warm and genuine way about him and he seemed like such a loving and dedicated family man. I can’t even imagine the heartbreak and sorrow that you all are feeling with this devastating loss.
