Madeline Hazel Carter
Madeline H. Carter, 94, of Moncton,
passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Saturday, May 30,
2020.
Born in Caverhill NB, she was the
daughter of the late Charles and Catherine (Cunningham)
Miller.
Madeline was retired from Blue Cross
Moncton with 35 years’ service and attended the Moncton
Wesleyan Church. She was a member of the Salisbury Merry Makers
Seniors Group, the Blue Cross Quarter Century Club and Parklanes
Seniors Bowling League.
Madeline will be sadly missed by her
sons, Douglas (Shirley) of Upper Coverdale and Dennis
(Roberta), of Riverview; grandchildren, Susan Kurz (Bill),
Shelley Carter (Michel), Scott Carter (Janelle) and Mark Carter; great
grandchildren, Matthew, Tyler, Emily and Caitlin; two great great
granddaughters Paisley and Kenley; several nieces, nephews and
extended family members.
In addition to her parents, she was
predeceased by her husband, Ivan Carter (1980) special friend Ken
Stone (2018), brothers, George, Edward, Eldon and Walter; sisters,
Mary Hersey, Mildred Dunn and Evelyn Carter.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, private
family services will be held from Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657
Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995).Interment will be in Fair Haven
Memorial Gardens.
