Peacefully at home, on Wednesday, May 27, 2020. Wife of the late Zeki (Isaac) Choueke. Beloved mother and mother-in-law of Esmond and Angie, Bobby and Ruthy, Rachel (Alter) and the late David. Cherished grandmother of Olivia, Zaki and Carly; Eric Choueke and Naomi Rabinovitch, Jessica Choueke and Jason Steiner, and Gabriel. Proud great-grandmother of Alexia and Jordyn; Jack, Liam and Ruby. Dear sister-in-law of Vic Zuck. Predeceased by her siblings and their spouses, Rae and Max Faerber, Hannah and Nissim Shalom, Mozelle and Lazare Hendeles, Becky and Alain Shabot, Rosie Zuck, Sophie and Fred Gottesfeld. Lolly will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Special thanks to Yvonne, Chita and Siony for their exceptional care and devotion. She bravely escaped from communist China by herself while nine months pregnant and took her two young sons. She enjoyed spending her winters in Florida with her family and friends. An avid bridge player, a volunteer at the Jewish General Hospital for many years, and a public speaker at many senior homes recounting her life as a Jew from China.
