Léona LeBlanc
1921-2020
Léona LeBlanc, 98, of Résidence Au Benaise, Saint-Antoine
and formerly of Renauds Mill, passed away peacefully, surrounded by
her family at the UHC Dr Georges-L. Dumont, Moncton on Tuesday August
25, 2020. She was married to the late Eric LeBlanc (2005). Born in
Saint-Antoine, she was the daughter of the late Désiré and
the late Marguerite (Maillet) Léger.
She will be sadly missed by her five children; Claudette (Dolphe
Richard) of Dieppe, Rosemonde Léger (Paul-Emile) of
Saint-Antoine, Nicole Robichaud (Laurie) of Sainte-Marie-de-Kent,
Bernard (Barbara) of Saint-Antoine and Jacques (Angela) of Bouctouche,
her six grandchildren Julien, Annick, Daniel, Isabelle, Pierre,
Gabriel and several great grandchildren. She also leaves to mourn her
two sisters; Geneva Boucher (late Joseph) of Dieppe, Dora Cormier
(Normand) of Moncton, two sisters-in-law; Georgeline Léger and
Géraldine Robichaud-Léger as well as several sisters and
brothers-in-law from the LeBlanc family, and several nephews and
nieces.
She was predeceased by three sisters; Edna, Edith, Geraldine and four
brothers; Yvon, Emerie, Paul and Eric.
Due to the pandemic, a private Mass will be celebrated at the
Saint-Antoine l’Ermite Roman Catholic Church, Saint-Antoine at a
later date. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
Funeral arrangements are in the professional care of Maillet Funeral
Home, Bouctouche.
