Kenneth Gerald «Kenny» Hartt
1957-2020
Kenneth Gerald Hartt – age 62, of Avonport, Kings
County, passed away on Friday, September 18, 2020 in the Valley
Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Windsor, he was the son of
Vivian (West) Hartt, Centreville and the late Gerald Hartt. He was an
electrician by trade and was proud to be a member of the IBEW local
625 for over 30 years. Over the years he enjoyed a good many drinks
listening to 70s music and telling stories of the good old days with
his buddies. He bowled, played darts and enjoyed going on four wheeler
trips. Kenny found a new hobby in the last few years of flying drones
and aerial photography and hanging out at the «old farts
club». Kenny had a big heart (Hartt) and was always there to
help when you needed it. In addition to his mother, he is survived by
his wife, his «Sweetie», Heather (Myles); his
daughter, «Candy Baby» Candice Hartt and his son,
«Kane man» Kane Hartt, all of Avonport; sisters,
Elizabeth (Frank) Spencer, Bishopville; Charlene Hartt (Mike Clowry),
Avonport; Jocelyn Hartt, Canning and Crystal Hartt, Centreville;
mother and father-in-law, Maxine and Max Blackmore; step
mother-in-law, Lorna Myles; sisters-in-law; Debbie (Glendon), Karen
(Mike), Cathy, Kelly (Donnie), Marilyn (Joe) Sandy (Andy);
brothers-in-law; Stephen (Lee Ann) and Geoff. In addition to his
father, Gerald, he was also predeceased by his father-in-law, Eric
Myles. Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation, by
request. A celebration of Kenny’s life will be held from 2-4
p.m. on Saturday, October 3, 2020 in the Lockhartville Hall. A
graveside service will be held at a later date in Mt. Denson
Cemetery. Donations in memory may be made to Canadian Blood
Services (by donating blood or funds). Funeral arrangements have been
entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services,
Kentville.
