Passed away peacefully at the St. Lawrence Lodge on Sunday, January 5, 2020. Justine Mary (Rousselle) Humble, at the age of 99 years. Beloved wife of the late Gerry Geneau and the late Joseph Humble. Cherished mother of Linda McInnes and Gail Hodge (Graham). loving grandmother of Lisa Geneau, Stephanie Jordan (Tom), Garry Hodge, Terry Hodge, Melanie Lessard (Bradley) Steven McInnes and Trina Doughty (Stephen). She will be sadly missed by her great grandchildren Brodie, Jasey, Kailey, Jake, Sarah, Brandon, Trey and Asha and by her great great grandchildren Harry, Grant, Phoebe and Madison. Also survived by her sister-in-law Margaret and by nieces, nephews and extended family. Predeceased by her son Gerard Geneau; by brothers Leo and Paul Rousselle and by her sisters Lillian Beeteson and Norma Abrams.
Special thanks to the nurses and staff of Oak and Birch lodges at St. Lawrence Lodge for the care and concern over the years and to Fr. Brian Price for his visits and prayers.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville, Friday, January 10, 2020 from 1-2 pm. A funeral Liturgy will take place in the chapel at 2 pm followed by interment at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the St. Lawrence Lodge Foundation will be gratefully acknowledged.
