1950 ~ 2020
Shediac, NB – Joseph Gallant, 70, passed away peacefully at the
Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre on Saturday, September 5th, 2020.
Born in Haute-Aboujagane, NB, he was the son of the late Alban and the late Lorraine Gallant (born LeBlanc).
Joseph will be sadly missed by his three sons, Terry Cormier Gallant of Moncton, Kevin Bastarache of Canmore, Alberta and Sean Bastarache of Moncton; his daughter, Melissa Cormier of Moncton; five brothers, Alverie Gallant (Jeanette), Ulysse Gallant (Donna) both of Moncton, Camille Gallant of Shediac, Alfred Gallant (Florence) of Cormier-Village and Laurie Gallant (Francine) of Cocagne; five sisters, Jeannita Boudreau (Adrien) of Shediac, Rita Doiron (Gerald) of Grand-Barachois, Bertha Richard (Samuel) of Rogersville, Dianna Gallant (Freddy) of Cormier-Village and Délina Gallant (Gilles) of Shediac; also by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Joseph was predeceased by his brother, Calixte.
Visitations will be held at Passage Funeral Chapel in Shediac Bridge on Saturday, September 12th, 2020 from 9 am until time of the Celebration of his life at the Chapel at 11am.
Everyone attending the visitation and the Funeral service will be mandated to wear a face mask. Please bring your own.
Donation can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to a charity of your choice.
