Obituary of John Wanamaker
It is with deep sadness, the family announces the death of John Robert Wanamaker of Sus, NB, husband of Gladys (Ewart) Wanamaker, which occurred on Monday, July 13, 2020, at the Sus Health Centre, with his loving family at his side. He was born on July 27, 1930 in Nauwigewauk, NB, a son of the late James and Lena (Campbell) Wanamaker.
John is survived by his much loved and cherished wife of 63 years, Gladys; he was the beloved father to son Bill (Beth) Wanamaker of Roachville; daughters Alice (Paul) Harding of Fredericton, Norma Manning (Trevor Sherwood) of Upperton; he was tremendously proud of his grandchildren: Erin (Dominick) Colpitts, Joel (Carol) Wanamaker, Matthew Doucette, Kate (JT) Lefebvre; great-grandchildren: Austin, Blake, Everly; brother Sterling Wanamaker; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers: Fred, William and Walter.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sus (506-433-1176). Due to COVID-19 the funeral service will be held privately. Interment will take place in Trinity Anglican Cemetery, Sus Corner.
