Obituary of John Henry Fasquel
The passing of John Henry Fasquel of Noonan, NB, husband of 52 years to Shirley (Davis) Fasquel, occurred on Sunday, October 18, 2020 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on January 23, 1947 in Minto, NB, he was a son of the late George and Eva (Colette) Fasquel.
John loved spending time with his family and it was of the utmost importance to him. Whether it was, at the camp, by the pool or just at home, family time was treasured. John was a Sgt. of the RCMP and retired after 26 years of service. He was a lover of the outdoors. He guided hunters, cut wood on his wood lot and enjoyed hunting and fishing all his life.
John is survived by his daughters, Tracy Power (Tom) and Terri Noble; beloved grandchildren, Kurtis Moore, Katie Nunley (Jimmy), Jonathan and Justin Noble, Jessica Kirkbride (Bradley); cherished great grandchildren, Mason Noble and Landon Kirkbride; his three other brothers; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents, John was predeceased by his sister, Catherine Colwell; and brother, Jules Fasquel.
John’s family would like to send a special thank You to Dr. McCann and Dr. Kolyvas, Nurse Kendra and the rest of the team at Saint John Regional Hospital.
In keeping with John’s wishes there will be no visitation or service. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
