Mr. John Robert “Bob” Jenkins, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away on Saturday, February 15, 2020 at the age of 78 years. He was born in Chatham-Kent and was a son of the late Jack and Violet (Bechard) Jenkins. Loving husband of Christina “Chris” (Cadotte) Jenkins. Dear father and father-in-law of Maureen (Roland) Sager, Monica (Peter) Ramsay and Rob (Sarah Woodley) Jenkins. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Amber, Cody, Dustin, Mariah, Sadie, Turner and Daisy. Kind brother of Margo Jenkins and David (Don Kennedy) Jenkins and brother-in-law of Cathy (Tony) Squire and Carol (Claude) Janssens. He is survived by his aunt Mary Lozon. Predeceased by two brothers Rick Jenkins and John Jenkins. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Bob loved to play cards, he could always be found playing at the Union Hall or the Adult Activity Center. Family and friends will be received, at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home, 639 Elgin St. Wallaceburg, 519-627-2861, on Thursday, February 20, 2020 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, February 21, 2020 at 11am. Cremation will follow and the interment of ashes will take place in Riverview Cemetery at a later date. As an expression of sympathy donations to CKHA “Dialysis Unit” or the Wallaceburg Adult Activity Center may be left at the funeral home.
